I say I love things. As my twenty something students would say "LOVE LOVE"  things. I love people AND things. Not in the same way..but I still love thing passionately and with great intensity.
THINGS e.g.: food, smells,views,sounds,thoughts, ideas, and, yes, clothes and all the trapping with which they are connected. I see something on pintrest, facebook, in a store; I cannot get it out of my mind. Other people see things and and even like by touching the thumb button.  I hunt it down, down meaning I go after it like hunters hunt  and never stop until  I find IT. All I am missing in the gun.
When I was a Dean I felt this way about my students. I felt the intense need to help them reach their full potential   I would speak/ work with them and, while doing so, I saw them at their full potential. Do not hear I tried to help them self actualize their dream.( I do believe this was a byproduct). When I met them I would see them in their success and then I knew I was to support them. This started happening with the THINGS I love. I discovered a watch.  People tried to buy it off my arm
.My Mum, sisters, and finally my Edris said "Why aren't you selling? You tell everyone about theses THINGS but you are not helping the creators in the best way in which you could help them." My Mum said talk is cheap. Invest in your LOVE.
